Happy 9 Month Birthday, Buddy!

Michael has been making this new cute face where he sticks his lower lip out and looks kinda pouty. It doesn't make him look the smartest, but it sure is cute!

Tooth Alert!

#4 is on its way and ready to pop through any day now! I thought the bottom teeth were so cute when they came in, but those TOP teeth are just plain darlin'!!

Little Nathan

We think this is DEFINTELY a Nathan face- cheeks and all!

D.E.A.R. time

D.E.A.R. stands for Drop Everything And Read, which we do occasionally in our house. We also 'drop everything and eat' but it doesn't have a catchy acronym.

Wait...!

I need a few seconds to put on my irresistible cute face!

(Just to prove that we DO indeed get Michael dressed in clothes sometimes, we will post a few pictures with him clothed in more than just a onesie. Don't want anyone thinking he is a rugrat or anything!)

Chubby Legs

I Love them! (on babies, that is! Too bad they aren't cute on me!)

Are You Just Going to Stand There Taking Pictures...

Or are you going to pick me up from my nap?!
Obviously, you all now know the answer. :-)

The Seond Annual TBC La-Z-Boy Derby

The La-Z-Boy DerbyThis past Saturday, we helped with the second annual teen La-Z-Boy Derby at church. The goal was to take an old nasty armchair that would race other such contraptions and make it fast as well as unique. You can see that we had quite a few chairs that raced. We had an enjoyable time, and enjoyed the teens energy and creativity. They all slept well that night, I can guarantee!

The UFO

This space-themed unidentified flying object was the winner for the evening. Must have been that rear spoiler that gave it the extra aerodynamic edge.

Speed Racer

This fine piece of automotive machinery actually was quite quick.

The Tye-Dyed 70's Retro Ark-Mobile

The Sr High girls had a fine design with their themed Ark-mobile. At the helm was Ham, Shem, Japheth, and, of course, Noah. Since the animals went on "two by two", the monkey on the front completes the monkey who sits in the chair to race. :-) Good job, girls!

Child Labor Laws

The only reason we wanted children is so we could teach our kids to do chores. I believe it is never too young to start. So Michael got to help me fold laundry today. Next week- vacuuming! Posted by Picasa

Such a BIG Boy!

Michael pulls up on anything he can. He LOVES to stand, but he can't quite figure out how to get down once he is up. This usually turns into the "sad face" (see below) because he gets stuck.

Old Friends, Good Friends

The Seekins visited this week, and what a wonderful time we had! Noah and Michael played together very well, and Joel, Cynetta, Jon and I enjoyed catching up on each others' lives, playing board games (the girls DEFINTELY whooped up on the guys!), walks in downtown Fredericksburg, Fredericksburg's famous Carl's Ice Cream, and just enjoying each others' company. Thanks for visiting guys! We miss you already! When are you moving to Fredericksburg?!?!?!?!

Good Friends Sharing

Sorry for the picture quality. I guess there were munchkin fingerprints on the lens.
