We have been trying to eat better lately, and since I've been shopping at Costco the last couple months, it's been easier to have a lot of variety of quality foods around. Another thing we did this year is to purchase a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) share from our local farmer's market, C&T Produce. Basically, you help the farmer with start-up costs (we bought this back in Dec/Jan) and then you get a portion of the best crops that are in season. We start getting our shares the first week of May, and I'm looking forward to enjoying the freshest produce, as well as learning to try new things that we might not normally buy (Kale, anyone?) I'll try to get some pictures of what we receive, and hopefully it will help us in our goals to eat better.
