Holy Week- Tuesday

Continuing in our anticipation of the resurrection, we're spending Tuesday talking and learning about Passover, where the death angel saw the blood on the doorposts and passed over that house, not taking the life of the firstborn son (Ex 11-13).  We're reminded of the great Exodus as God led His people out of slavery in Egypt and across the Red Sea (Ex 13-15).  We're also learning about the Last Supper (John 13), right before Christ's betrayal.
We will be talking about the lamb that had to be slain in order for the death angel to pass, and will be illustrating this by putting our red construction paper on the top and sides of our doorpost.
The kids colored their picture of the Last Supper, and we're celebrating with juice and bread (ie sandwiches, though the bread was leavened and there was pork in the BLT.  Definitely not kosher) for dinner as a reminder of the last supper that Jesus had with his disciples.  In preparation for tomorrow, I am getting things together to make resurrection eggs (with pattern).

On Friday, we will be making Easter Mountain:
And Saturday, we will make resurrection rolls, one of our favorite traditions:
Anyone have any Easter traditions or things to do with kids that you want to share?  We'd love to hear!
