Here's our haul from this week's CSA share:
Swiss chard, green sweet onions, 10 summer squash, 6 green zucchini, 6 yellow zucchini, 4 large cucumbers, 6 little cucumbers, 5 tomatoes, and a bunch of new potatoes. I bought the vidalia onions extra, since they really make the grilled veggies extra yummy when they cook down and caramelize.
Here's the menu for the week:
WEDNESDAY: Tomato sandwiches, sugar snap peas* (from last week), strawberries, cucumber* sticks and dip
THURSDAY: Grilled chicken sandwiches, grilled zucchini/squash/onions*, corn on the cob
SATURDAY: (company over) burgers (with lettuce and tomato*), grilled zucchini* and squash*, grilled Parmesan potatoes
MONDAY: crock pot chili, any leftover veggies*
TUESDAY: chicken tenderloins, salad*, any leftover veggies*
