and gnashing of teeth
All over a pair of shoes. Seriously, he hates shoes that much. I've tried different shoes to make sure they were a good fit. I've tried loosening them to ensure comfort. I've tried trial runs (no pun intended) for a few minutes. But every time, without fail, when I try to shod my son, he acts as though his world has been shattered. For a generally mellow guy, this is quite the unexpected reaction. David will not even move when shoes are on his feet. He just stays in the position I put him in and will. not. move. Quite melodramatic if you ask me.
Hopefully, before it gets cold, he will learn to tolerate them.
